7. It is the target, never the end We conclude this Shared Value Report which, by its very title, wants to express loud and clear what it is about: to show with transparency and ease of access and web browsing all that we are, which grants us the trust of the citizens. And it is a valuable report because it repre-sents everything that we try to contribute to the citizens; shared, not only among the diffe-rent areas of the ONCE Social Group, but also with each and every one of the citizens who make it possible. We have, at this point, reached the goal of what we wanted to tell, but a goal which, in the ONCE Social Group, is never the end; it is a point on the horizon, a target but never an end, becau-se we still have many goals to reach and over-come. Keep reading Keep reading Keep reading From the consolidation of the concept of group as a way of working and being stron-ger, we are now setting our sights on a glo-bal objective, a commitment we dreamed of and want to achieve and, in fact, we would certainly have achieved without the pande-mic few years ago: we want to reach 75,000 workers in the ONCE Social Group, more peo-ple, more people with disabilities, more wo-men, more people at risk of exclusion, more diversity, more inclusion and opportunities. On that note, all areas will join in with spe-cific and Group initiatives: to grow in order to continue reinvesting all our resources in more and more social investment and to reach more and more people, as we said at the start. We will try to give the final push to the ONCE Low Vision Foundation, to help those who, without the degree of visual disability requi-red for membership to the ONCE, neverthe-less present a reality of low vision in which we can employ our knowledge, promote re-search and stand by their side. We will continue our cooperation inside and outside Spain: Latin America, Europe and North Africa (with some projects of great interest and impact) will receive the support of the ONCE Social Group and its solidari-ty initiatives, always based on inclusion and collaboration with associations and local au-thorities. We will also work to ensure that blind people living in Spain legally receive specific support. And we will continue to show with our Ilu-nion companies that profitability is possible by putting people and inclusion above all else, through quality employment for peo-ple with disabilities and others at risk of ex-clusion. We will expand our presence in Co-lombia and also in Portugal, with significant social entrepreneurship initiatives. In short, we reached the goal for 2023 with very satisfactory results, but we are already setting new goals, new endings, new sprints that will allow us to be more, to be better. All this is possible thanks to the involvement of Spanish citizens -and now, of many other parts of the world- with this ONCE Social Group, which will make innovation, sustai-nability and inclusion, always inclusion, into levers for future societies.
